Dolomite X Trentino Tree Agreement

True to its "Re-source by Dolomite" corporate social responsibility programme, Dolomite is renewing its pact with nature by teaming up with Trentino Tree Agreement, the fund-raising project promoted by the Autonomous Province of Trento to restore the woodlands destroyed by storm “Vaia”.
Dolomite is not only supporting the project economically but through more broad-reaching collaboration will provide Trentino Tree Agreement with a voice and an image in the hope that reforestation of the woodlands can become a driving force to bring about change at a broader, deeper level in order to raise awareness among the present and future generations.

With this objective in mind, Dolomite and Trentino Tree Agreement met on Friday 22 July, in the splendid setting of the Paneveggio nature park (Trento, Italy) to demonstrate to their mutual commitment. The day featured speeches by representatives of the parties involved and representatives of the provincial state forestry agency, who focussed their attention on the project and in general on the need to protect the environment and its communities for the coming years. 

The most heartfelt and important part of the day was the planting, when a team from Dolomite had the pleasure of actively taking part in the creation of the new forest.
